Step 3: Health & Identification Requirements

Before transport, you’ll need the following documents:

Rabies Vaccination Certificate All pets (age-dependent) Must be current and signed by a vet
Other Vaccination Records Varies Some regions may require proof of vaccines like distemper, parvo, etc.
Airline Forms Air travel Each airline has specific crate and documentation requirements

Step 4: Travel Preparation

    • Crate Training (if not already comfortable)
    • Include Comfort Items (blanket, toy, worn shirt with your scent)
    • Bathe the dog or cat 1 day before transport day
    • Provide a small bag of food for the pet (with feeding instructions)

Step 5: Transport Day

    • Feeding Schedule (no food 2-4 hours before travel)
    • Potty break prior to pick up
    • Hand off your pet to the flight nanny
    • Ensure all documentation travels with the pet (copies inside the carrier)
    • Stay updated via tracking or check-in communications.  Your flight nanny will communicate with the buyer and seller on group text only.

Step 6: Arrival & Follow-Up

    • Receive your pet at the designated location
    • Confirm wellness upon arrival
    • Make final payment with the flight nanny
